At Mercator Digital we market innovative products from emerging companies for the broadcast and post-production industry. Gerhardus Mercator, our namesake, was the Flemish cartographer (1512-1594) who produced an atlas of the world on which the lines of longitude were parallel thus allowing sailors to chart a course on a straight line. This type of atlas became known as the Mercator Projection and was used by mariners for hundreds of years. In like fashion we look for new and innovative ways to approach and solve problems in the broadcast and post-production industry by working with technologies to improve quality and simplify workflows.
